Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong

Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong is the General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition - International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU) and the Resident Teacher at Manjushri KMC, the Mother Center of Kadampa Buddhism. Gen-la has studied and practiced Kadampa Buddhism for many years under the guidance of her Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

As one of Venerable Geshe Kelsang’s close disciples, Gen-la Dekyong’s teachings, humor and kindness exemplify the essence of the Buddhist way of life. She is a perfect example of a Kadampa Teacher. Each year, Gen-la Dekyong teaches at International Festivals, National Festivals, and Dharma Celebrations.

Gen-la Kelsang Jampa

Gen-la Jampa is an internationally renowned, ordained Buddhist teacher and the Deputy Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition - International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU), and current Resident Teacher at the International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon.

As a senior NKT teacher, Gen-la Jampa has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years, and under Geshe-la's guidance has taught at many centers and events around the world. Gen-la is well-loved for his clear and inspiring teachings and his ability to touch people’s hearts through his sincerity. Each year, Gen-la Jampa teaches at International Festivals, National Festivals, and Dharma Celebrations.

Gen Kelsang Gomlam

Gen Kelsang Gomlam is the Western US National Spiritual Director and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center Colorado in Denver, CO. Gen Gomlam’s heartfelt and practical teachings are presented with warmth and humor, making them accessible to everyone. Through her loving kindness, sincere concern for others, and deep understanding of Buddha’s teachings, Gen Gomlam provides an inspiring example of someone who has taken Buddha’s teachings to heart.

Gen Kelsang Wangpo

Gen Wangpo is the Resident Teacher at KMC Dallas, KMC Houston, and Bodhichitta KBC in Lubbock, TX.

A devoted student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 20 years, he has taught Kadampa Buddhism across the U.S. 

Gen Wangpo is known for his practical approach to presenting ancient Buddhist wisdom. He is deeply appreciated for his clear, inspiring teachings and his ability to connect with others through loving-kindness and compassionate care. With particular skill in presenting profound topics in an accessible way, Gen Wangpo helps everyone engage with Buddha's teachings on a deeper level.

Gen Wangpo taught at KMC Houston from 2020 until 2024, then briefly taught in Phoenix until being requested to be the Resident Teacher for KMC Texas. He was delighted to return to Texas and is dedicated to helping the communities in Dallas, Lubbock, and Houston.

Gen Wangpo is dedicated to visiting Houston several times a year, and streaming weekly classes and Foundation Program for those who are enrolled in our online membership options.
